Usage
Oral Use
Insert the Thermometer Securely Beneath the Patient's Tongue. Instruct the Patient to Keep their Mouth Closed for Approximately 20 Seconds.
Avoid Consuming Hot or Cold Beverages, Engaging in Physical Activity, Smoking, or Participating in any other Activities Before Taking a Reading.
These Actions Can Affect the Accuracy of Your Temperature Measurement Compared to Your Typical Baseline Temperature.
Axillary Use
Firmly Position the Probe in the Child's Armpit for Approximately 30 Seconds.
Make Sure There is Direct Contact Between the Probe and the Armpit of the Infant or Child.
Rectal Use
Often Recommended for Small Children When Taking an Oral or Underarm temperature proves difficult.
Use a Water-Soluble Lubricant for Insertion. Do not Apply Petroleum Jelly.
Carefully Insert the Probe tip no more than 1.5-2 cm into the Rectum for Around 10 Seconds. If You Encounter any Resistance, do not Push the tip Further.
After Use, Clean and Disinfect the Thermometer.
