Omol Syrup is a Pediatric Formulation of Paracetamol (Also Known as Acetaminophen), Commonly Used to Relieve Pain and Reduce Fever in Children. It Has Antipyretic (Fever-reducing) and Analgesic (Pain-relieving) Properties.

Active Ingredient 

  • Paracetamol 120mg per 5ml

Drug Indications 

  • Fever Due to Infections, Vaccination, Flu
  • Headache, Toothache, Sore Throat, Muscle Pain
  • Pain Relief in Common Colds and Flu

Dosage 

Dosage Depends on the Child’s Age and Weight. Always Follow a Doctor’s Instructions or the Dosage Guidelines Provided.

General Pediatric Dosage (For Children 2 Months – 12 Years):

2–3 Months: 2.5ml (Half a Teaspoon) Every 6–8 Hours (if Prescribed by a Doctor)

3–6 Months: 2.5ml Every 4–6 Hours

6–24 Months: 5ml Every 4–6 Hours

2–4 Years: 7.5ml Every 4–6 Hours

4–6 Years: 10ml Every 4–6 Hours

6–8 Years: 10ml Every 4–6 Hours

8–10 Years: 15ml Every 4–6 Hours

10–12 Years: 20ml Every 4–6 Hours

Maximum Daily Dose: Do not Exceed 4 Doses in 24 Hours.

Contraindications

Omol Syrup Should not be Used in:

  • Children with Severe Liver Disease
  • Known Allergy to Paracetamol or Any Ingredient in the Syrup
  • Cases of Overdose Risk (e.g., if Taken with other Paracetamol-containing Products)

Precautions: 

  • Do not Exceed the Recommended Dose, as an Overdose Can Cause Serious Liver Damage.
  • Avoid Combining with Other Medications that Contain Paracetamol.
  • Consult a Doctor if Symptoms Persist for More than 3 Days.
