Buscopan 10mg Tablets, 20's

Buscopan is an effective antispasmodic medication containing Hyoscine Butylbromide. It helps relieve smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts, providing relief from conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and bladder spasms.

Active Ingredient

• Hyoscine Butylbromide: Antispasmodics

Drug Indications

• Smooth muscle spasm/cramping of the gastrointestinal system.
• Pain and discomfort due to gastrointestinal spasms.
• Acute genitourinary or gastrointestinal spasm (e.g., renal or biliary colic).
• Smooth muscle relaxation prior to radiological procedures (e.g., pyelography).
• Diagnostic procedures where spasm may be a problem (e.g., gastroduodenal endoscopy).

Dosage:

1-2  tablets per day up to a maximum of 6 tablets per day.

Drug Contraindications:

Do not use Buscopan tablets in the following cases:

• If you are allergic to scopolamine or any component of the formulation.
• If you have Narrow-Angle Glaucoma.
• If you have  gastrointestinal (GI) or genitourinary (GU) obstruction.
• If you have Acute Hemorrhage.
• If you have Paralytic Ileus.
• If you have  overactive thyroid.
• If you have Tachycardia.
• If you have Myasthenia Gravis.
